Cosmos Hub 2.0 draft white paper released that will support ATOM liquidity pledge
CoinDesk reported on September 27 that the draft Cosmos Hub 2.0 white paper was officially unveiled at the Governance Forum, describing a new role for Cosmos Hub as the core of interchain security, This means that other chains will be able to use the Cosmos Hub to protect their networks. The white paper will be put up for a community vote on October 3.
It is reported that the white paper describes two application-specific functions called InterChain Scheduler InterChain Allocator, which together constitute the flywheel to accelerate cross-chain growth. InterChain Scheduler is a cross-chain block space marketplace that generates revenue from cross-chain MEVs. These revenues are used by InterChain Allocator to capitalize the new Cosmos chain and facilitate inter-chain collaboration, thereby expanding Scheduler's potential market.
The white paper also describes mechanisms designed to add value to the Cosmos Hub's native Token ATOM, which will soon support a liquidity pledge feature that will improve ATOM's liquidity, as well as significantly reducing the number of ATOM tokens issued to the network in the future.
